The baby train doesn't look like it's stopping anytime soon for Nick Cannon, the self proclaimed "KING of RAW&B", as he had his 9th child today with Lanisha Cole. He posted a video on social media to make the announcement with a caption gushing over his new bundle of joy. They had a baby girl named Onyx Ice Cole Cannon.
Cannon reveled in the birth of his "Angel" and vowed "to protect, provide, guide and love" her. He called out critics who disapproved of his decision to create such an extended family with multiple women: "I’ve given up on attempting to define myself for the world or society but instead I’m doing the work to heal and grow into the infinite Being God ordained me to be."
The actor also praised the new mom: "@MissLanishaCole is one of the most guileless, peaceful and nonconfrontational kind souls I’ve ever witnessed, and only deserves to revel in this moment of blissful joy of motherhood. Please give her that. She is so loving and pure hearted." Cole was a model who appeared in the game show The Price is Right and music videos including 'Frontin' by Pharrell featuring Jay-Z. Her Instagram page says she is now a photographer.
It's been quite a year for the Wild 'n' Out host. In July, he welcomed his 8th child with Bre Tiesi and had a maternity shoot with Brittany Bell last month will now be having his 10th child.
