PAUL SORVINO DEAD AT AGE 83

Actor and Director Paul Sorvino passed away at the age of 83. The Brooklyn native died in Indiana on Monday from natural causes. No foul play is suspected. Sorvino's career spans over 50 years, starring in over 50 films including Money Talks, Reds, Blood Brothers, Hey Arnold! And Romeo + Juliet starring Leonardo Di Caprio. He is most recognized for playing gangster Paulie Cicero in the box office hit Goodfellas alongside Joe Pesci, Ray Liotta (who recently passed away) and Robert De Niro. He also rose to fame from his role as NYPD Sergeant, Phil Cerreta, on the hit show Law & Order.

Sorvino was also no stranger to Broadway performing in plays such as Most Happy Fellas, Tony and The Baker's Wife.

He leaves behind a wife and three children, including his daughter Mira Sorvino, also an award winning actress.
