Donald J. Trump has officially been indicted today on charges relating to his 2016 presidential run including payments made to porn star Stormy Daniels and falsifying business records.
A Manhattan grand jury voted to indict Trump, making him the first president in U.S. history to face criminal charges.
Just last week the 45th President announced his upcoming indictment and called for his supporters to protest, while recently asking for political donations.
The arraignment date has yet to be scheduled but Trump will be surrendering on Tuesday, April 3, 2023 where he will appear before a judge.
With his decision to run for the 2024 election it remains to be seen how this will all play out.
