Convicted artist R. Kelly has more time added to his already long sentence as he was handed down another 30 years on child pornography charges. On Wednesday Kelly was convicted in a Federal court in Chicago for luring children to produce pornography. He escaped conviction of other charges including the rigging of his 2008 trial in which he was acquitted. His business manager McDavid was also acquitted of obstruction of justice.
He is currently serving out a 30 year sentence for sexual abuse of children after he was indicted in 2019.
Sexual abuse allegations have plagued the singer for decades while he rose to the top as one of the biggest R&B artists in the world. He still has two more trials ahead of him, facing sexual misconduct charges in Minnesota and Chicago.
