Dancer and DJ Stephen Boss, known as DJ tWitch, has passed away at the age of 40. Boss most recognized as the DJ (and Executive Producer) on Ellen Degeneres' show 'The Ellen Show' from 2014 to 2022. He'd competed in 'So You Think You Can Dance' and was featured in several movies including 'Step Revolution', 'Magic Mike XXL', 'Stomp The Yard: Homecoming', and 'Step Up 3D'. Boss also co-founded CLI Studios, an interactive program offering "on-demand teacher training videos and interactive seminars featuring classes on strength and conditioning, technique, stretching and flexibility, progressions, warm-ups, combinations, choreography, improvisation, and more."
TMZ reported that Boss died by suicide after his wife, Allison Holker, reported him missing yesterday morning. He was later found with a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
Fans were shocked at the news given his always uplifting and positive demeanor. There was an outpouring of support and condolences to the family on social media including Ellen Degeneres.
His last Instagram post was two days ago, a video of him and his wife dancing. Holker wrote the caption, "HOLIDAY SUNDAY FUNDAY DANCE !!! With my lover @sir_twitch_alot 🥹 #thebosshouse#holidayfun#dance#bossstudios"
The couple shared three children together.
