It looks like reading glasses will soon be a thing of the past as a company has formulated an eye solution that, when used, will allow people to see better throughout the day. This is the first eyedrop formula of its kind and will cater to those age 40 and up who may experience failing near and intermediate vision.
The formula, branded as Vuity, was studied in trials and results were found to improve eyesight in 750 people with presbyopia. The changes can occur in 15 minutes and last up to 10 hours with no known side effects.
The drug has been approved for use in the United States Food and Drug Administration. While the solution does not cover all vision impairments it is a ground breaking step in developing further remedies.
