Officers are currently investigating an accident that occurred at a concert on Thursday, July 28, 2022. A jumbo screen fell onto five dancers while performing with music group Mirror at Hong Kong Coliseum.
Mirror is a Cantopop boy band from Hong Kong that was formed during the reality show 'Good Night Show - King Maker'. There are twelve members: Stanley Yau, Frankie Chan, Jeremy Lee, Alton Wong, Keung To, Lokman Yeung, Anson Kong, Ian Chan, Anson Lo, Jer Lau, Edan Lui, and Tiger Yau. Their songs have topped the Hong Kong charts and won many awards, most notably their singles 'Ignited' and 'Warrior.' They recently released a new single "We are".
One of the injured dancers is currently in critical condition and another is stable. None of the band members were injured. All remaining concerts for the tour have been cancelled and an investigation is being called to determine whether this is the result of a freak accident or human negligence.

This isn't the first incident to occur on the group's concert run. On Tuesday night Mirror member Frankie Chan Sui-fai fell off the edge of the stage while giving a speech. A petition was created by fans, calling for safer setup of the stage and set, which gathered over 10,000 signatures.
