Artist Kid Cudi will be directing his first film entitled 'Teddy'. Kudi also wrote the film and will have a starring role.
The movie will be co-produced by Jay-Z who has produced other films including the 'Harder They Fall' and 'Annie' featuring Jamie Foxx.
Kid Cudi is no stranger to the world of film. He's held many acting roles in movies such as 'Don't Look Up, 'A Man Named Scott', 'Goodbye World' and the HBO series 'How To Make It In America'.
Cudi made the announcement on Instagram and described the movie as "if I took the song ‘Pursuit of Happiness’ and wrote a movie about it.”
'The Harder They Fall' will be released on Netflix.
