Lady Gaga will be playing Harley Quinn to Joaquin Phoenix's Joker in the upcoming sequel. She posted a video on social media confirming her role in the next 'Joker' instalment titled 'Joker: Folie à Deux.'
The short trailer gives us a sneak peek of the Joker and Harley dancing as it seems this will be musical. There's not much else to go so we're excited to hear more news! We do know the scheduled release date is October 4, 2022.
Gaga is no stranger to the silver screen. She's starred in movies including A Star is Born, Machete Kills, and miniseries American Horror Story: Hotel where she won a Golden Globe award for Best Performance by an Actress in a TV Movie or Miniseries. She recently played Patrizia Reggiani in the 2021 film, The House of Gucci, alongside Al Pacino, Jared Leto and Adam Driver.
